Dr Stuart MacKenzie is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip, knee and trauma surgery.
Having started his journey in medicine at Newcastle University, he has also undertaken sub-specialty fellowship training in Canada and England as well as a period of training in the USA. Eighteen years later, he has returned to Newcastle and is very happy to be home.
His passion for orthopaedic surgery was fuelled by the possibilities for immediate and comprehensive restoration of function that could be achieved with today's technology and techniques.
Dr Mackenzie specialises in surgery of the hip and knee including hip and knee replacement surgery and sports knee surgery. Dr MacKenzie also specialises in ROBOTIC-ASSISTED HIP AND KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY and DIRECT ANTERIOR HIP REPLACEMENT.
